Day 2: Blue Moon 🌙

🎶Da ba dee da ba dai 🎶😆 Actually this didn’t turn out as blue as I would have liked the black ate up most of my blue but as many of you mommy’s know my naptime/paintime is very limited so this is where I’m leaving it for now. I was a little more confident this time around with doing my own thing but I still spent almost an hour in repair time alone covering up oil painting techniques that smudged with acrylic paints. There were less colors to use today so I didn’t have as much of an issue with color mixing, but hopefully I can make it to hobby lobby tomorrow and get the colors that I need for next time. He made the waves look so easy with the fan brush but I still struggle with the weight of the acrylic paints on the fan brush so I had to improvise. Any tips from my fellow artists out there??
