“Where is the cowboy??” Exactly. It took me 3 days to get this far on this painting and right when it was time to add the cowboy... the baby woke up. And that means it’s feeding time! I mean seriously, have you ever tried to paint while breastfeeding? Or do ANYTHING while breastfeeding? Yeah, It’s actually a lot harder than it looks. And I still had to clean myself up so the baby wouldn’t try to eat my fingers and get a leftover acrylic paint snack. That’s one of the main reasons why I’m not doing oil paints! So I’m leaving this painting here and just saying that the campfire is ready for any passing cowboys who need it. ❤️
I skipped ahead to episode 10 of season 3 because I loved this pallet so much! Hopefully I’ll get back on track... or I’ll save the snowy episode 4 for later! I haven’t quite decided.
Ok Good things about this painting!
1. I pre-watched the video and it seemed to really help. Especially with the background (knowing most of it would be covered so not to waste my time there)
2. These colors are my FAV so I really enjoyed working with the warmth.
3. My husband loved it even halfway through when it was a mess and I love making him smile. 😘
This is probably my new favorite of the Bob Ross paintings (in season 3 at least) if not tying with episode 1.
I am actually looking forward to the next painting in the challenge. It helps dwelling more on what I’ve done that I like instead of how it’s not my best, or how it’s even MISSING A WHOLE COWBOY 😆😆😆
